Directions
- In a large saucepan, heat water to a rapid boil. Remove from heat and drop in the tea bags. Cover and let steep for 1 hour.
- In a large pitcher, combine the steeped tea and the sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then stir in lemon juice. Refrigerate until chilled.

- In a food processor, combine instant tea, powdered creamer, milk powder, confectioners' sugar and brown sugar. Add ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, allspice and vanilla powder. Process for 2 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
- To serve, place 4 teaspoonfuls in a mug, and fill with hot water; stir.

- Place the tea bags and mint sprigs into a large pitcher. Pour boiling water over them, and allow to steep for about 8 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags and mint leaves, squeezing out excess liquid. Stir in sugar until dissolved, then stir in the orange juice and lemon juice. Pour in the cold water. Serve over ice cubes, garnished with orange or lemon slices.

Sweet Tea Dulce de Leche
Serve this sweet concoction over ice cream with salted nuts. Yum!
Ingredients

family-size tea bag

1 cup
sugar

1 cup
heavy cream
Preparation
1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a 3-qt. heavy saucepan; add tea bag. Remove from heat; cover and steep 10 minutes.
2. Discard tea bag. Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Bring tea mixture to a boil over medium-high heat and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 more minutes or until mixture turns amber brown and reduces to a honey-like consistency. Gradually add cream, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth. (Mixture will be very thin.) Cool completely (about 30 minutes). Cover and chill 24 hours. (After chilling, mixture will have the consistency of heavy cream.)
2. Discard tea bag. Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Bring tea mixture to a boil over medium-high heat and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 more minutes or until mixture turns amber brown and reduces to a honey-like consistency. Instead of sweetening your iced tea with sugar, use honey instead. Add some grated fresh ginger for a delightful twist.

Sweet Tea Icebox Tart
A cool citrus-flavored tart with a hint of sweet tea is the perfect dessert. Serve in a or use your Gingersnap Crust, favorite prepared crust for an easy shortcut.

unsweetened instant iced tea mix

(14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

1/2 teaspoon
orange zest

1/2 teaspoon
lime zest
1/3 cup
fresh orange juice

1/4 cup
fresh lemon juice

large eggs, lightly beaten

Gingersnap Crust*
1 cup
heavy cream
3 tablespoons
sugar

Garnishes: lemon slices, fresh mint sprigs
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. Stir together iced tea mix and 2 Tbsp. water in a
large bowl. Whisk in sweetened condensed milk and next 5 ingredients
until blended. Place Gingersnap Crust on a baking sheet; pour in milk
mixture.
2. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or just until filling is set. Cool completely on a wire rack (about 1 hour). Cover and chill 4 to 24 hours. Remove tart from pan, and place on a serving dish.
3. Beat cream and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Pipe or dollop on top of tart; garnish, if desired.
*2 (4-oz.) packages ready-made mini graham cracker piecrusts may be substituted.
Note: You may also bake this tart in a 14- x 4-inch tart pan with removable bottom; increase bake time to 25 to 28 minutes or until filling is set.
